Cindy Marler
Co-owner: Oceanview Prep Director - Leadership & Entrepreneurship Track Lead
The Director of Oceanview oversees all aspects of the program. They set the schedule, seek counsel and make decisions that align the offerings each year with the Mission and Vision of the community.
Born and raised in South Florida, Cindy had the privilege of attending one of the finest private schools in the state for 9 years. At that institution she developed a passion for learning that is never satiated. As an adult, she realized how much of that was due to the environment cultivated at school. When your passion collides with your gifts and talents you have found your place. Children, education and homeschooling are her passions and organizational leadership is her gift.

Jessica Figueroa
Co-owner: Director of Operations - Engineer Track Lead
The Director of Operations manages the school budget, assists in the admissions process and coordinates the master school schedule. Preparing students to be competitive in the college admission process starts well before high school; our Director of Operations oversees the school’s role in assisting families through this process.
Jessica and her husband, Javier, are from Puerto Rico and met while studying engineering at the University of Puerto Rico. After graduating, they moved to California to pursue their master’s degrees in engineering at California Polytechnic State University.
Jessica earned her M.S. in Engineering with a specialization in Integrated Technology Management, graduating at the top of her class. She went on to serve as a CIA Officer and later as a Naval Engineer, gaining high-level experience in engineering, technology, and national security. Her career took her around the world before she and her family settled in Lake Worth following the birth of their daughter.
At Oceanview Prep, Jessica brings a unique blend of elite technical training and real-world experience, offering students valuable perspective into engineering, innovation, and leadership at the highest levels.

Lori Girouard, AuD, FAAA
Pre-Medical Track Advisor
Dr. Lori Girouard brings decades of clinical expertise and community leadership to Oceanview Prep’s Pre-Medical Track. A Doctor of Audiology based in Stuart, Florida, she spent many years owning and operating a successful private practice, where she was known for her patient-centered approach and commitment to advancing hearing health and overall wellness.
Now retired from clinical practice, Dr. Girouard remains deeply engaged in both mentorship and community impact. She serves on the Board of Directors for the Florida Oceanographic Society, contributing to strategic initiatives and outreach efforts that strengthen the local community.
At Oceanview Prep, she leverages her real-world medical experience and passion for education to guide aspiring healthcare students—equipping them with the insight, discipline, and perspective needed to pursue meaningful careers in medicine.
Bonnie Kelly
Entrepreneurship Track Advisor
Bonnie is the sole owner and founder of Coastal Doulas, established in 2012 and serving families throughout Palm Beach County. As a business owner and leader, Bonnie has built a respected, team based doula agency rooted in professionalism, integrity, and reliability. Her vision has been to create a model of care where families receive consistent, compassionate, and nonjudgmental support throughout pregnancy, birth, and postpartum, paired with evidence-based education that allows them to make confident, informed decisions aligned with their values.
Beyond her work with clients, Bonnie is deeply invested in mentoring and developing doulas within her community. She has cultivated a strong, collaborative team culture focused on accountability, continuity of care, and compassionate presence. Through hands-on training and leadership, she continues to elevate the standard of doula care locally while growing an agency that is trusted, well established, and known for its steady, high quality support.
At Oceanview Prep, Bonnie serves as an Entrepreneurship Track Advisor, offering students real-world insight into building, leading, and sustaining a purpose-driven business.

Javier Gates
Engineering Track Advisor
Javier brings over a decade of experience with the United States Postal Service, where he has led major process improvement and operational initiatives across multiple regions. He holds Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, Black Belt, and Kaizen Facilitator certifications, and has received national recognition for his contributions.
Javier holds a B.S. Industrial Engineering from the University of Puerto Rico and a M.S. Engineering specialized in Integrated Technology Management from California Polytechnic State University (CalPoly).
At Oceanview Prep, he serves as a Track Advisor, offering students real-world insight into engineering, efficiency, and problem-solving at scale.
